CDA Spine and Brain and M3 Clinic CDA is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant. The applicant must possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. 

Position Title: Medical Assistant
Position Summary: The CDA Spine Medical Assistant position is a “patient first” role for a talented person with confidence, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic to complement our long-standing and continuously evolving practice.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting Dr. Larson and his focused Neurosurgery and Spine team with all aspects of Spine Care.

Job Type: Full time (Monday – Thursday 4-day work week)
Pay: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour

Essential Tasks:
•Prepare patient for consultation – room patient, collect history, take vital signs, address questions, and record in electronic medical record.
•Patient education
•Schedule surgeries and procedures
•Triage post-operative/post-procedure needs
•Coordinate follow-up
•Manage prescriptions
•Assist with in-office procedures – inventory and stock procedure room assemble supplies
(*Note-the it is not expected that the potential candidate is familiar with these techniques, but rather it will be taught during the orientation period).
• Spine and Orthopedic injections
• Blood draw and preparation of PRP
• Stem Cell Preparation
• Prep patient, facilitate during injection, assist C-arm (*we will teach C-arm operation)
• Inventory and stock procedure room

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (*not required)
Medical office experience (*or similar)
